Hi, I’m James Burchill. Back in 2014, I took a deep dive into creating and marketing online courses. And because platforms change, I decided to create an independent course training brand to avoid future confusion.
After some thought, the perfect name came to me: a blend of “course” and “entrepreneur” — and that’s how “Coursepreneur” was born.
Naturally, I checked to see if anyone used the trademark or registered the domain. No one had, so in March 2015, I made it official.
Since then, I’ve launched various bestselling courses, programs, podcasts, and other training materials under the Coursepreneur™ brand and, to date, have helped over 35,000 students worldwide.

Over the years, I’ve had to kindly remind a few overly enthusiastic individuals to stop using my brand name and copying my content. It’s flattering, but to be clear, COURSEPRENEUR™ is my trademark, and the domain and brand have been mine since 2015.
Why Should You Care?
Simple. There are numerous knock-offs and unauthorized copies of my old content floating around, some even using the Coursepreneur™ name. But they’re not me.
